In the year 45 from the Incarnation of our Society, in the twelfth month of the third reign of the most illustrious King and Queen, Malcolm and Tessa, in the presence of their citizens, this memorandum was made of some part of the customs and liberties of the kingdom. And these customs, recognized by the Counts and Barons and by the nobler ones and elders of the kingdom, their Majesties did extol the generousity and skill of the Sylvan Glen Scriptorium. And did in good faith and without evil will announce that said Scriptorium shall henceforth and forever be listed on the rolls and known as a member of the right and proper Order of the Sycamore. Moreover, a record of the aforesaid royal customs shall be made by the herald of the court so that the Counts and Barons, and nobles and elders of the kingdom shall know of this decree.
